The Badgers traveled to Painesville Township to take on the Harvey Red Raiders at Kiwanis rec park today in the bats followed them.

The Badger lineup collected 24 hits on the day resulting in 26 runs. The lineup was lead by Chris Groudle (4-5) with a double & triple, driving in three runs and scoring three times as well. Brian Brent went 3-5 with a triple and six RBI’s while scoring 3 times as well. Every starter collected double digit hits accept for Jake Brown who went 1-1 and walked four times.

The gloves and pitching staff followed suit after the bats did there job.

JT Bergmeier went all five innings. JT in a no-hitter outing struck out six and gave up zero runs. Bergmeier also went 3-5 on the day at the plate with a double and scored three times.

Highlight defensively came again from the outfielder group when Blake Jenkins threw out a runner tagging from 3rd and end the inning. It was his second outfield assist in the last threes games.
